The Axolotl is a fascinating and unique addition to any aquarium. Known for their regenerative abilities, these salamanders can regrow limbs and even parts of their spinal cord. To care for your axolotl, make sure to keep their water clean and at a temperature between 60-68°F. They also require a balanced diet of live or frozen foods such as bloodworms, brine shrimp, and pellets. Axolotls are best kept in the tank by themselves with a bare bottom and low light. With proper care, your Wild Type Axolotl can live up to 15 years and make for a truly captivating pet.
