The Roseline Shark, also called the Denison Barb (Sahyadria denisonii), is a sleek, torpedo-shaped barb from the fast-flowing rivers of southern India. Its silver body carries a black stripe and a bright red line running from the snout through the eye, and the tail is marked with yellow and black. Peaceful and very active, it grows to about 4 to 6 inches and does best in a group of six or more in a long tank with strong filtration and clean, well-oxygenated water.
