The Ember Tetra is a stunning addition to any aquarium with its vibrant red and orange coloring, resembling the glowing embers of a fire. This small schooling fish is native to the blackwaters of the Araguaia River in Brazil and thrives in a well-maintained aquarium environment. With a peaceful nature, the Ember Tetra is an excellent choice for community tanks and brings a lively energy to any school of fish. These tetras prefer heavily planted tanks with dim lighting and will thrive in water with a slightly acidic pH level. Providing a balanced diet of quality flake and frozen foods and maintaining a stable water temperature will ensure the health and longevity of your Ember Tetra school.
