Female guppies are larger and fuller-bodied than males, with colorful tails in a range of patterns. Guppies are hardy, peaceful livebearers that do well in community tanks of 10 gallons or more with temperatures of 72 to 82 F and pH 7.0 to 8.0. Females give birth to live fry every few weeks when kept with males. Feed flake, small pellets, and live or frozen foods. A great choice for beginners.
