The Hybrid Dolphin x Lab Hap is a cross between the Blue Dolphin Hap (Cyrtocara moorii) and a Labidochromis cichlid from Lake Malawi. Expect a sturdy, peaceful-for-a-Malawi cichlid with blue to yellow coloring and the start of a nuchal hump. Keep in a 55 gallon or larger African cichlid tank with hard, alkaline water (pH 7.8 to 8.6, 76 to 82 F), rockwork, and open swimming room. Feed a quality cichlid pellet with occasional spirulina. This is a hybrid fish, so it should not be used in pure-strain breeding.
