The OB (Orange Blotch) Peacock is a line-bred Aulonocara peacock cichlid with a mottled pattern of orange, blue, and black, so every fish looks a little different. It grows to about 5 to 6 inches and is one of the calmer African cichlids. Keep in a 55 gallon or larger tank with sand, rockwork, and hard, alkaline water (pH 7.8 to 8.6, 76 to 82 F). Feed a quality cichlid pellet with frozen or meaty foods. OB Peacocks are a hybrid line and should not be used in pure-strain breeding.
