The Penguin Tetra (Thayeria boehlkei), also called the Hockey Stick Tetra, is a peaceful schooling fish from the Amazon basin with a bold black stripe that runs along the body and down into the lower lobe of the tail. It often hangs at a slight head-up angle, grows to about 2.5 inches, and looks best in a group of six or more in a community tank.
