Two 10 x 12 in filter floss pads from Underwater Treasures' Seapora line. The dense pads catch fine and coarse particles before they reach and clog your biological media, which helps keep the water clear.

Cut and shape them to fit canister, hang-on-back, trickle, wet/dry, pond and other mechanical filters. They work in freshwater and marine systems. Floss is usually replaced rather than rinsed once it is packed with debris, so a spare pad on hand makes filter maintenance quicker.
